Silhouettes

My last assignment in my course was silhouettes. I was so looking forward to it because I have always loved them. Technically, I found them to be easier than other photos I have taken.  Logistically though, not so much!  There are about 20-30 minutes to get a good silhouette after sunrise and again before sunset.  And my toddlers weren't necessarily feeling cooperative during that timeslot.  Nonetheless, I managed to get a few I'm proud of.

As a side note, I can't say the word silhouette (or type it for that matter) without the "Alouette" jingle playing in my head.  Oh, it's in yours now, too?  You're welcome!
