One of the unforeseen perks of starting my little photography biz, is reconnecting with old friends. A number of my clients have been high school friends that I had lost touch with over the (I will not admit to how many) years. Alisha contacted me over the summer to schedule a fall session, and I had been looking forward to it ever since. Girl, I totally forgot to bring this up during the session - but, um, do you remember headbanging to Guns N' Roses in my room??! I'm pretty sure we were wearing bandanas over our heads a la Axl!!??! Yup. I'm admitting to that. Back then I don't think I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up (other than a rockstar, apparently), but I'm pretty sure I never envisioned I'd get to photograph the families of the kids who shared the hallways of DHS with. It really is an honor to be chosen to capture your family! I had such fun with you guys, I loved your family, I loved your kids, and I love these images we created!
This is one of my favorites, not only because I think it's adorable, but because this handsome little heart-breaker said to me "Um, you look really beautiful!" right before I snapped it! ha!
