Manda {Southern New Hampshire Senior Photographer}

Wednesday, August 31, 2011

I chase around kids with my camera. That's what I do.  And I love it!  But, with all the senior portraits I've seen some of my favorite photographers posting, I was really getting the "senior" bug!  So when Manda and her mom contacted me about taking her senior photos, I was more than excited.  We decided to meet on the beach, Manda had picked out some awesome outfits, it was a gorgeous night, and she is one beautiful girl.  I think that recipe worked out well ;) Cheers to the class of 2012, enjoy your senior year!!

Manda is already a talented photographer, and she's majoring in photography next year. I really look forward to watching her talents grow!

And here's a sweet one of her and her Mom, who is equally as beautiful! :)

The B Family {Methuen, MA Family Photographer}

As a mom of 2 boys, I was really looking forward to this session, with 3 beautiful little girls! They didn't disappoint with their pretty dresses and flower headbands. We met in a beautiful park, with the rain teasing us but holding out long enough to capture some great moments for this family. I hope you guys love them!

This one might be my favorite from the session, I love the movement of the girls, with mom and dad just looking at each other smiling.  It reminds me of my family!
I really love this one of mom and dad, too.  I think every couple should have nice pictures of themselves!

And the winner is...

This session was SO fun! This is one sweet, loving family. The mom, Kim, is a friend I haven't seen for some time, with 3 beautiful children, and a husband with a good sense of humor (you'll see). They were so relaxed and fun, and I think it shows in these. Thanks guys for letting me capture your family. I hope you love what we came up with!

And thanks to the Dad for being such a great sport and helping me out with my umbrella ;) Haven't you ever heard, it doesn't pay to be nice! :)

100 thanks!

Cole - MA Children's Photographer

Thursday, July 28, 2011

When my niece first asked me to photograph her boyfriend's sister's 8 week old (say that 3 times fast), I was kind of nervous!  He's a newborn but not the sleepy kind that you can mold into a little pile.  He's an infant but not the kind that sits up on his own and laughs.  So what was I gonna do??  Well, it turns out there was nothing to be nervous about.  This was such a fun shoot! And when I suggested this particular park, I was totally unaware of the family history here.  Cole's great-grandfather has a bench dedicated to him in this park, and his Mama played here regularly as a kid, so it was the perfect spot in more ways than one.  I just wish his Dad could have been here, but he had to fly back home to Pennsylvania before we met for this session.  I hope you guys love these!  I'd love to see you again next summer :)

Oh bestill my heart. This boy is so adorable, so loveable! I am so grateful to his awesome parents for letting me take his pictures again! Remember the cutie-pie from last year, with the bunny in his mouth (if not, look up and watch my slideshow). He's still got his bunny, which we managed to sneak in for a few pics. Kristen - I'm thinking way ahead to his senior portraits... think he'll let us get away with that then?? Ha! He's going to be two in a few short weeks... let's all wish him a Happy Birthday! :)

P.S: How amazing are his eyes?!!?
